Q: Why do I need gigApp? I know how to program web sites.
A: So do we. We used to spend up to
1 1/2 hours a month updating schedules and news. And we had to do
it EVERY MONTH. Let's face it. It's grunt work.
Even using copy/paste takes forever. So, we developed an application
that made it easy.
Also, how many of you web people get paid a lot to do the web site
maintenance? We certainly didn't. And this as a never-ending job.
With gigApp, we went from 1 1/2 hours a month to no time at all.
The bands now enter their own schedules. We would pay $15 a month
NOT to have to make schedule and news pages. It's worth it!
Q: How much does gigApp cost?
A: gigApp's standard cost is $10 for
the first month, then $15 a month thereafter. However, there are
several different pricing structures that are used depending on
length
of subscription and promotional pricing.
Q: How long do I have to sign up for?
A: Renewal is on a monthly basis. There
is no long term contract. Payment through Paypal is on a recurring
basis. Other arrangements available on request.
Q: How long does it take to activate my account?
A: Account activation takes place within
24 hours. Gigs and news can be entered once the account has been
set up. Depending on the tour page you want created, actual activation
times can vary. Complete activation depends on the client providing
the data necessary to create the tour page.
Q: How
does gigApp work?
A: To add/edit/delete/view gigs, you
go to www.gigApp.com and sign in. Gigs and news are put in by filling
out
simple web forms.
All data is retained, so you would never have to enter a venue twice.
Gig data (venue info, band info, etc) is stored in a database
on gigApp's
servers.
When
people
come
to
your
site,
they
will see all of the gigs that you have put into your database. However,
unlike other similar services, visitors to your web site DO NOT have
to leave your site to see your schedule. We provide you with simple
instructions that show you how to keep visitors at your site, rather
than leaving and having to come back. It's easy! Spend time writing
music. Quit worrying about your web site and when Ralph-the-web-dude
is going to get that critical info up.
